    The Holy Theophany of Our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ

    Feast of our Lord. Holy Day of Obligation. Great Vespers without Divine Liturgy for the Feast of Theophany is celebrated in the late afternoon or early evening on January 5. The Great Blessing of the Water is taken after the Prayer Behind the Ambon. The Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great is celebrated in the morning on January 6.
